   8 In order to build dmenu you need the Xlib header files.
   9 Pasting the X selection to dmenu requires the sselp utility at runtime.

  14 Edit config.mk to match your local setup (dmenu is installed into
  15 the /usr/local namespace by default).

  17 Afterwards enter the following command to build and install dmenu (if
  18 necessary as root):
